Accountants least favorite top 10

Robert J. Cunningham, CPA in Spokane, WA has compiled the following list of "things that tax accountants least like to hear from their clients."

In keeping with the format used by Dave Letterman, here is Cunningham's "Top Ten" list:

10. Someone told me that we don't have to issue a W-2 if the employee made less than $600.00

09. I think I'm going to owe money this year, so let's file an extension.

08. I'm mailing you another W-2; I forgot that I even worked at that place.

07. How come rich people never pay any taxes?

06. Our friends got a huge refund this year. Why didn't we?

05. I've been doing it that way all my life.

04. I pay too much in taxes, so I need to reduce my income.

03. I use my car/boat/home/computer 100 percent for business.

02. I have a friend who has his own business, and he says that he never has to pay income tax.
